HEALTH AND SAFETY TRAINING FOR TRAINING PROVIDERS
TRAINER TRAINING COURSE (1 DAY)
LEVEL 2 “CERTIFICATE IN OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY”
In order for you to provide this certificate you must attend a Trainer training day.
The requirements for you to attend this day are as follows:-
• You have a teacher/training qualification
• You have at least 2 years teaching/training experience
• You already hold the LEVEL 2 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or will achieve the qualification within 2 weeks of attending the trainer course
• You have a basic knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace (which will be tested)
You will be tested on your knowledge of the subject before the end of the day in order to prove your competence.
Once you have completed the training day and completed the qualification you are then ready to teach the course either yourself or your company.
You will be monitored once every 2 years by HSSC Ltd in order to ensure your continued competence.
The cost of the Trainer training day is £250 (this fee includes the cost of obtaining the Level 2 certificate yourself).
You will also be given an up to date powerpoint presentation for your own use when you teach the course.
